PCL Fillers
What is PCL Fillers?
PCL fillers is a dual-action injectable filler containing Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) microspheres that help with immediate volumizing and with long-term collagen stimulation.
How does PCL fillers work?
Polycaprolactone, the active component of PCL fillers, stimulates the natural production of new collagen in the deep layers of the skin. Collagen plays a major role in maintaining the structure and elasticity of the skin. Low collagen levels in the skin results in the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. As polycaprolactone activates the natural process of collagen synthesis, it restores skin’s integrity and youthful look. Meanwhile, Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), which is the carrier gel of PCL fillers, restores volume by instantly filling up areas with volume loss.
How long does PCL Fillers last
PCL Fillers is a long-lasting filler that can last for up to 4 years. The bioabsorbable feature of PCL Fillers allows it to be slowly absorbed by the body through time. As PCL Fillers is gradually absorbed into your system, what is left in your skin is your own collagen network, which was produced with the help of polycaprolactone.
