Fillers
Fillers are gel-like, hyaluronic acid-based injectables that augment the face, restore facial volume loss, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

What are fillers for?
Fillers have 2 major benefits — facial contouring and volume restoration.
Facial volume loss is one of the main results of skin aging. As we age, our face loses collagen, elastin, and fat. This causes the sagging of the cheeks, appearance of facial folds around the mouth, fine lines around the eyes and wrinkles on the forehead.
Fillers augment and revitalize the form and structure of these areas, resulting in a contoured, young-looking face. Fillers are also used to enhance and define facial areas such as the lips, chin, nose, forehead, and temples. Fillers can be used with BTX treatment to target laugh lines around the mouth, reduce creases between the eyebrows, and define the jawline for a V-shaped face.

FAQ
Filler injection treatments are safe, non-invasive, and almost painless. To make the procedure more comfortable, we apply our premium numbing cream onto the patient’s skin. At Om, we use appropriate cannula and needles are based on the specific target areas. After the procedure, an antibiotic cream is applied over the needle insertion points.
You can see results immediately after the dermal filler injection procedure. Some swelling may be present which resolves in a few days.
Longevity of the fillers varies in everyone but on the average, dermal fillers last for 12-18 months depending on the type of fillers used.
The most common side effects with fillers are needle marks, swelling, and occasional bruising. These side effects eventually disappear after a few days.
Prior to the procedure, it is recommended that you avoid blood thinning medications, herbal medications, and alcohol intake to prevent bruising. After the treatment, avoid massaging over the areas, going to the sauna, swimming, alcohol drinking, or smoking for at least 24 hours.
