These lasers used in the Pico Glam treatment work synergistically to treat common skin concerns and ultimately transform the skin. How does Pico Glam work?
The Pico Glam is a versatile laser program that uniquely combines three types of lasers — a 300 picosecond laser, a long pulsed 755 nm alexandrite laser, and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. Integrating these lasers into one powerful treatment procedure that targets the different layers of the skin, resulting in the resolution of pigmentation, wrinkles, and enlarged pores.

Skin brightening and pigmentation
Pigmentation of the skin affects millions of people, especially those living in sunny areas in Asia. The UV rays from the sun activates increased melanin production, resulting in dark spots and patches. These dark areas in the skin are the targets of the Pico Glam lasers.
The concentrated beams of energy from the Pico Glam lasers break down the chunks of melanin in the dark areas of the skin for a smoother, brighter, healthy skin. The broken fragments of melanin are then flushed out naturally by the body’s excretory system.

The Pico Laser procedure is non-invasive, safe, quick, and almost painless. Prior to the procedure, we apply our premium numbing cream for 20-30 minutes to make the treatment more comfortable. The actual duration of the procedure depends on the skin condition of the patient and the specific combination of lasers used. In most cases, the procedure lasts for 15-20 minutes.
The Pico Laser treatment has minimal downtime. The exact duration of the downtime period depends on the specific skin concerns and other procedures necessary to achieve optimum results. In most cases, mild redness occurs which can last up to 2-3 days. In some patients, the redness lasts for up to one week.
The number of Pico Laser sessions depends on your specific skin concern. On an average 8-10 sessions gives desired results in most patients. Tattoo removal and treatment for scars may require more sessions.
The most common side effects after lasers irritation, redness, and dryness of skin. In most patients, these side effects are mild and resolve spontaneously through time. Some patients may develop a condition known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), which occurs if proper post-procedure care is not taken.
After Pico Laser treatment, it is important that you follow post-procedure care and precautions, which include sun avoidance and consistent use of sunblock and moisturizer.

Dr Neil Pawar
Dr. Neil graduated from the esteemed Grant Medical College in 2010 with first-class honours in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Ever since studying medicine, Dr. Neil has always been passionate about aesthetics and anti-aging treatments. After graduating from medical school, he was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a research fellowship in New York, USA. He focused on the study of Alzheimer’s Disease and other aging-related diseases. Through his research studies, Dr. Neil gained a deep understanding of the pathology of aging-related diseases and the therapeutic modalities that alleviate the impacts of such diseases. His fellowship also further strengthened his passion for the field of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine.
Dr. Neil is one of the very few to be accredited with a Board Certification in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine in Singapore.1 He has obtained all his national aesthetic certificates of competence to perform aesthetic procedures from the National Skin Center, Singapore.
To further advance his understanding of skin-related topics and aesthetic techniques, Dr. Neil undertook a Graduate Diploma in Dermatology at the Queen Mary University of London, where he graduated with a Distinction. He also received rigorous clinical training in aesthetic medicine from expert dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Korea, the USA, and Europe. He keeps his medical practice up-to-date by regularly attending international conferences and workshops on the emerging technologies and procedures in aesthetic medicine. With his notable experience and involvement in clinical practice and research, he has published extensively in several peer-reviewed journals.
Today, Dr. Neil is known for being an expert in delivering natural results through his precise and artistic approach to aesthetic procedures.
