Pico Lasers

The Pico Laser uses an advanced type of laser technology that is designed to treat skin hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, acne scars, and tattoo removal. Pico Lasers rejuvenate the skin, even out skin tone, and improve texture to reveal a younger-looking, smoother, glowing skin.

Different brands of Pico Lasers are available in Singapore. However, not all brands are genuine Pico Lasers. At Om Aesthetics, we use PicoHi, which is one of the true Pico Laser that has been verified by a third-party review committee.

How does a Pico Laser work?

A Pico Laser emits specialized wavelengths of energy in picoseconds to break down dark pigments within the skin, hence removing hyperpigmentation and revealing a bright, evened out skin tone.  The energy beams also induce natural healing processes in the skin, promote cell turnover, and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. These processes help reduce fine lines and wrinkles while also improving skin structure, texture, and elasticity.

Compared with nanosecond lasers, Pico Lasers deliver more concentrated energy in a shorter period of time, hence producing less heat when applied onto the skin. Pico Laser treatment therefore causes less irritation, requires less downtime, and fewer sessions to adequately eliminate dark spots and acne scars.
