HIFU treatment with Ultraformer 3 is safe, non-invasive, and has no downtime. This procedure is almost painless and does not require anesthesia. During the treatment proper, the exact thickness and boundaries of the treatment area will be marked. A sufficient amount of ultrasound gel will then be applied onto your skin. The specific cartridge will then be placed in contact with your skin. You may experience slight discomfort or minimal ache as the warm pulses are delivered by the cartridges. Full face usually requires 800 -1000 shots. It varies from patient to patient depending on the size of the face and degree of severity of jowls and sagging.
